WHAT IS IT?
L-Tyrosine is a free-form amino acid involved in neurotransmitter production, and thyroid, adrenal and pituitary function.
WHAT DOES IT DO?
A lack of Tyrosine can result in depression. Tyrosine is a precursor to the neurotransmitters dopamine and norepinephrine, which regulate mood. Mood elevation allows people to make better dietary choices, and enjoy exercise more.
Tyrosine helps to suppress the appetite and reduce body fat. It is involved in the body’s production of thyroid hormones. Low blood levels of Tyrosine have been linked to under-active thyroid function.
Tyrosine aids in the function of the adrenal and pituitary glands. It has been used to treat anxiety, depression, allergies and chronic fatigue.
HOW DO I TAKE IT?
Take one or two capsules, one to three times daily, on an empty stomach.
